Talking and listening can be a powerful healer. A good friend can be a safe space to let feelings go, to engage in the natural healing process of expressing emotions through words, laughter and tears.

Yet our habits of conversation can often get in the way of the natural expression of emotion. We tend to interrupt, 'fix', give advice, and unknowingly interfere with this natural healing process.

With Healing Conversations you can learn the skills to talk and listen to heal yourself and offer deep connection to others.

Listening time with Kate offers me a safe place (where I feel listened to and don’t feel judged. I can get all of those overwhelming thoughts and emotions out in the open, talk about them, process them. Then I can then go back to my daughter with a clear mind and soul. I am more able to connect with her, truly see her and not being triggered as much by her behaviour. I can be the parent she needs. "

Hi, I’m Kate Orson, freelance writer, listener and embodiment coach.

Ten years ago, when I trained as a parent coach, and wrote my first book Tears Heal: How to listen to our children, I learnt revolutionary listening skills not just to assist our children, but for adults to support each other. After studying therapeutic journal writing, and embodiment skills learnt as a Sexological Bodyworker the COVID pandemic hit, and I began to see how vital these skills are, to heal our body, minds and souls, build new communities, and mend division. Our need to work deep on our shadows, ease our suffering and become closer to one another is why I founded Healing Conversations.
